Residential Solar
Panel Installation
Regardless of your roof-type, Sunny Solar Power has years of experience designing and installing residential solar panels to ensure your system is optimized and uniquely fit for your home.
Composition Shingle
A composite or asphalt shingle roof is one of the easiest and most painless installation roofing tile systems for a solar system. Your installer will be able to simply slide the footings under the shingles, then secure them to the rafters before installing the array on the racking system.

Concrete Spanish or Flat Tile
Although Tile Roofs can prove to be one of the more difficult roofing systems to install solar panels, a few extra steps by an expert installer can get the job done. The great thing about these systems is that they can support solar installations without major modifications to the roofing material.
Clay and Stacked Tile
Clay tile roofs can present unique challenges during a solar installation due to the fact they often require a rework of the proposed array location in order to ensure the roofing system remains water tight and resistant to leaks. The expert installers at Sunny Solar Power are familiar with this type of installation and can work to make sure your system is water tight for the expected life span of the roof.
Flat Roofs
Many homes in Southern California have Flat roofs which require a tilted racking solution to orientate the solar panels to the south to maximize solar exposure. Typically, a 17 degree pitch is desirable while torch down/ Asphalt flat roofs are good candidates for a conventional Tilt Rack system.

Metal Roofs
Light and durable, metal roofs are often made of eco-friendly recycled materials and are a popular choice for solar panel systems both residentially and commercially.
Ground Mount Systems
Ground-mounted solar panel systems function similarly to residential roofings systems and are a popular choice for solar farms and solar communities because they do not require a roof installation and can rather be mounted to any area with proper ground space. Unlike fixed rooftop systems solar panels can be installed with the ideal tilt and orientation for maximum sunlight. These types of installations can even accommodate a "solar tracker" to increase productivity.
New Construction/Remodel
When we install a solar system during construction or remodeling phase of a project, we are able to hide all wiring inside the walls of the house, ensuring everything looks as clean and neat as possible and that your system is custom-designed to your new construction.
