Joe Lopez is the founder of Sunny Solar Power and a licensed electrician with over 15 years of experience in residential and commercial electrical work throughout San Diego County. He holds California contractor license #1042628 (classifications B, C-10, and C-46), is NABCEP certified, and is one of a small number of installers in the region to achieve Tesla Energy Certified status.
Customers regularly note that Joe shows up personally, diagnoses problems other companies decline to assess, and takes the time to explain what he found and why it matters. When a client's inverter was traced to a voltage issue from SDG&E — not the solar system at all — Joe caught it, documented it, and forced the utility to fix it.
He services systems he did not install. He takes calls other electricians pass on. Every job is built around leaving the customer better informed than when he arrived.
